DGI.Framework.Sources.Vaddio.Roboshot 1.1.0

Vaddio RoboShot Driver

Driver to communicate with RoboShot cameras over the Network. Tested on

  • RoboShot 30E

Its constructor accepts an IDgiCommunication object that will be used to connect, send messages and disconnect from the camera.

Configure the IDgiCommunication driver accordingly to accept connectivity with the camera.

The camera accepts two types of communications

  • Telnet on port 23
  • SSH on port 21

The recommended way to connect is over SSH to comply with security standards. Most IT departments will block Telnet over port 23.

The Telnet and SSH protocols will need the camera User Name and Password to connect.

Usage

Constructing the driver

Construct the driver by passing an IDgiCommunication object (in this example the DotNetSshDriver) to the constructor, and initializing default properties:

var sshConfig = new DgiRemoteDeviceConfiguration.NetworkConfiguration
{
    IpAddress = "192.168.0.133",
    Username = "admin",
    Password = "Password"
};

var sshCLient = new DotNetSshClient(sshConfig);
var roboShotDriver = new RoboShotDriver(sshCLient);

Connecting to the camera

Connect and Disconnect to the camera by using the Driver's Register and Unregister methods:

roboShotDriver.Register();

roboShotDriver.Unregister();

Send a command

To issue a command to the camera, simply issue it through one of its methods:

RoboShotDriver.ZoomIn();

RoboShotDriver.ZoomStop();
