Dgi_TascamBDMP4KBluRayDriver

A .NET driver for controlling the Tascam BD-MP4K Blu-ray player through IDgiCommunication.

Features

• Implements core key-control commands from the Tascam RS-232C/Ethernet protocol.

Polling

The blu-ray player will send unrequested notifications for transport status, current track, storage media status and others. However it will not update the elpased time while a Blu-Ray Disc is playing. When the drivers detects the transport status is "Play" it will poll every 5 seconds for Elpased Time and Remaining Time. If the end application requires something more accurate, it can be done in the front end with internal timers. This will minimize the network traffic to and from the blu-ray player.

[!CAUTION] The blu-ray player only accepts one TCP connection at a time. Make sure only one driver is implemented per device
